Poetry Slam

The East Harlem School at Exodus House is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization.

All proceeds from our events will be used exclusively to support our programs.

The Young Volunteers Committee

The Slam is organized by The East Harlem School's Young Volunteers Committee (YVC), a group of young professionals dedicated to volunteerism and philanthropy that furthers the mission of the School.  The Spring Poetry Slam is the signature fundraising event of the YVC.
