The Admissions Process is as follows:

  1. Fill out an Application (If you need help submitting your child's application or supporting documents, please make an appointment to come to the school).
  2. Prospective families must attend an Open House. Email Ms. Adorno at evadorno@eastharlemschool.org for the Open House Schedule. Virtual and Private open houses are also available upon request. 
  3. Schedule an Admission Day Visit for your child. Your student will have the opportunity to "spend a day in the life of an EHS student". 
  4. Schedule a family interview with our Head of School Ivan Hageman.
  5. Submit Supporting Documents:
    • Teacher Recommendation Form
    • Most recent W2 or Other Annual Earnings Summary (Proof of Income)
    • Report cards/school records from the past two years
    • A copy of your child's immunization record and most up to date physical form
  6. An admissions decision is communicated by email.
