The East Harlem School has a Local School Wellness Policy that is in accordance with the standards of the Child Nutrition Program of New York State. We internally review our Local Wellness Program on a regular basis. You can click on the link below to read our Local Wellness Policy. If you would like to see our Assessment on the Implementation of our Local School Wellness Policy for the previous year, please contact Yvonne Tapia (email@example.com or 212-876-8775 ext 301) or stop by the front desk of our school. This is one of the many ways we commit to keeping our students healthy, active, and educated about nutrition and exercise. Families are also welcome to provide written feedback to us at any time about how they feel we are doing in this area. Please submit any comments to Ms. Tapia in a sealed envelope with the label “Local School Wellness Policy” on the front of it.
